Form E4 for collets General note:: VDI tool holders for CNC lathes consist of heat treatable steel with a strength of approx. 900 N/mm², hardness of 56 ±2 HRC and hardness depth of min. 0.5 mm. In addition, all VDI tool holders have a cylindrical shank h6 with internal coolant supply and adjustable ball slot nozzles. Shank and supporting face hardened and ground, with coolant transfer hole. Other designs on request. Design: Collet chuck adaptor ER DIN 6499. Shank and contact surface hardened and ground, with coolant transfer hole. Application: For mounting tools in collet chucks.
